DTE Energy offers payment incentive to install solar

DTE energy is offering reimbursement for the installation of solar systems on homes and buisness on their grid.  The program has a budget of 25 million dollars and the capability to add 5 MW of generation to the system, 2.5 of which from residential consumers.  The installed solar units cannot exceed the monthly electrical usage by the location and must initially be paid for by the coustomer.

Customers intersted in the program will recive a portion of the installation cost immediatly and monthly credits on their energy use for the next 20 years.  In all the program could save the coustomer about half of what it would cost to install a solar system.

DTE in return will recieve renewable energy credits for the generation that they only paid half for.  It's a win win situation for the company and consumer.

Now all you need to do is come up with 20,000 extra dollars to initially install the system.
